Raymond Gosling
PhD student who, together with Rosalind Franklin, obtained Photo 51.
He was a British physicist, born in 1926 and deceased in 2015, who completed his doctorate at King's College London under the supervision of Rosalind Franklin.
He is recognized for his direct participation in obtaining, in 1952, the X-ray diffraction photograph known as Photo 51, one of the key experimental pieces of evidence for the DNA double helix model.
The video mentions him together with Franklin as having obtained this photograph in 1952.
