0:00Francis Crick was one of the first to theorize about how information flows in cells. Picture a blackboard in his lab. Crick draws DNA and connects arrows pointing to RNA and then to proteins. In his mind, DNA was like an instruction manual in the cell, one that could be read to create RNA and, ultimately, proteins.
